Meet Our Team
Dr. JoAnn Johnson
Dr. JoAnn Johnson graduated from the University of Tennessee, Memphis Medical School, in 1977. She completed a rotating internship at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1978 and her pediatric residency in Birmingham, Alabama in 1981. She was board certified in 1988 and recently completed her maintenance of certification in 2010.
Dr. Johnson practiced for four years in Birmingham and Anniston, Alabama before establishing her own business. In 1986, Dr. Johnson opened her first pediatric practice in Athens, Alabama, known as Athens Pediatrics. She practiced in Athens for twenty-three years and moved her practice to Huntsville, Alabama in 2009, now known as Over the Rainbow Pediatrics.
Dr. Johnson’s main areas of interest are: developmental pediatrics, asthma and allergy, A.D.H.D/A.D.D./ school problems, dermatology, and infectious diseases. Dr. Johnson chose pediatrics as her specialty because a pediatrician can watch a child grow and develop over a number of years and she enjoys watching children recover from their illnesses.
Cadeatrizlius Moore, MSN, FNP-C
Cadeatrizlius Moore graduated with her BSN from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2010. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama with honors in 2018. She became a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy for Nurse Practitioners in 2019.
Ms. Moore practiced for 9 1/2 years as a registered nurse at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit taking care of patients of all ages. Her passion for health promotion, disease prevention and holistic care encouraged her to begin her journey as a family nurse practitioner in 2016.
Ms. Moore is interested in health promotion and wellness, preventative care and recovering children from illnesses. She enjoys teaching, watching children grow and developing lifelong relationships with families.
